At Indian River Connections, we are proud to feature "The Spark Free Press", a bold and innovative publication dedicated to providing independent, unfiltered news to the people of Indian River County. Founded in 2024, The Spark Free Press was created with a mission to deliver truthful, transparent journalism and uphold the core values of the First Amendment. The publication gives a voice to stories often overlooked by mainstream media and is committed to finding real solutions to the issues that impact our local Florida community.

What truly sets The Spark Free Press apart is its team of passionate reporters who conduct thorough, solution-based investigations. Rather than just reporting on problems, this dedicated team dives deep into the issues, working to uncover meaningful insights and propose actionable solutions. Whether tackling local politics, social issues, or underreported stories, The Spark Free Press doesn’t just inform—it seeks to make a difference.

Behind this pioneering publication is CJ, a seasoned resident of Indian River County with a background in the mental health sector. CJ’s journey into media began following the 2016 election of Donald Trump, which exposed the overwhelming biases within mainstream media. Determined to create a platform that delivers news with integrity, CJ founded The Spark Free Press to offer a fresh perspective free from corporate or political influence.

CJ and the team are dedicated to bringing real change through investigative reporting, giving a platform to underrepresented voices, and empowering the community with the information needed to make informed decisions.

We invite you to support The Spark Free Press and join a growing movement that believes in the power of independent, solution-based journalism. Subscribe today to stay connected with news that is honest, transparent, and truly reflective of the diverse voices in Indian River County.
